GREEN JOB NETWORK

International job board that connects employers with job seekers who are interested in jobs that focus on environmental or social responsibility. A service of Green Jobs Network, a social enterprise based in the San Francisco.

VOLUNTEER WITH THE CAPITAL REGIONAL DISTRICT (CRD)

The CRD offers a variety of volunteer opportunities in local communities and the region's many parks and green areas.

GREATER VICTORIA GREEN TEAM

The Green Team organizes and runs hands-on activities where you can learn about local parks and ecosystems, local food production and environmental conservation.

CITY OF VICTORIA CLIMATE CHAMPIONS

The program connects city residents and business owners in order to share ideas, undertake partnerships, and encourage fun and innovative climate action in homes, workplaces, and neighbourhoods to reduce the community’s greenhouse gas emissions.

SURFRIDER FOUNDATION

Surfrider is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. Activities include beach clean-ups and organizing events and awareness campaigns.

COMPOST EDUCATION CENTRE

The program connects city residents and business owners in order to share ideas, undertake partnerships, and encourage fun and innovative climate action in homes, workplaces, and neighbourhoods to reduce the community’s greenhouse gas emissions.

WILDERNESS COMMITTEE

The Wilderness Committee is dedicated to preserving wilderness, protecting wildlife, defending parks, safeguarding public resources and fighting for a healthy climate. Volunteer opportunities include community outreach and trail building.

PARENTS FOR CLIMATE

A local group of committed parents who take bold, direct climate action for the sake of our children and all future generations. Opportunities for interested parents in include organizing and participating in advocacy and awareness campaigns.
